My practice policies require a credit card to be stored on file as part of the intake paperwork. However, if you would like to pay at the time of your session in another way, payment may be made using:
Credit Cards, Debit Cards, HSA, Cash, or Personal Check.
I maintain a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any adjustments made to the scheduled time slot after the 24 hour mark are subject to a cancellation fee billed at the rate of the scheduled session.
Yes. I provide virtual sessions by request, using a HIPAA compliant platform.
I am not in network with insurance companies. I can provide a Superbill as requested for you to submit to your insurance companies for reimbursement if that is a benefit your policy provides.
This is not something that all insurance policies offer, so I encourage contacting your insurance about Superbills before attempting to submit them.
I am licensed in Kansas and Alabama. At this time, I provide in person and virtual (by request) sessions in Kansas, and virtual appointments only in Alabama.
If after initial contact we decide to schedule a session, I will send you the confirmed appointment in an invite to the Simple Practice client portal. It will include a link to complete intake paperwork to get us started. I request that the intake paperwork is completed within 24 hours in order to continue holding your appointment time. Our first session will be getting to know one another, reviewing some of the intake paperwork, an assessment of your needs, and collaborating on a plan for our work together.
Request a consultation through my website form, by emailing kimberly@starlingcounselingks.org or by calling 913-336-3378. You can expect to hear back from me within 24 business hours.
First session, 75 minutes, all subsequent sessions, 50-55 minutes.
