I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in the States of Kansas and Alabama. I have worked with individuals with a wide variety of problems and challenges and believe that counseling can be beneficial to all of us in identifying ways to improve our lives. I have particular training in the treatment of trauma. I am trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care as well as EMDR.

As human persons, each of us needs connection. We need someone to bear witness to the stories of our lives and to help us make sense of why our lives look and feel the way they do. By understanding our stories and life experiences, we can understand more fully how we came to think, feel and relate to others in the ways that we do. Therapy can help us name the beauty and brokenness of our own stories, which can lead to much deeper connection with others. It is through this knowledge and experience that we are able to forge a more free and fulfilling path forward.
